Regulations governing the profession

In addition to the Professional Code, various laws in Quebec govern access to the certified management accounting profession.

• Regulation respecting the diplomas issued by designated teaching establishments which give access to permits or specialist's certificates of professional orders
• Regulation respecting terms and contitions for permits to be issued by the Corporation Professionnelle des Comptables en management Accrédités du Québec
• Regulation respecting the standards for equivalence of training for the issue of a permit of the Corporation Professionnelle des Comptables en Management Accrédités du Québec
• Regulation respecting the standards for equivalence of diplomas for the issue of a permit of the Corporation Professionnelle des Comptables en Management Accrédités du Québec
• Regulation respecting legal authorizations to practise as a certified management accountant outside Québec that give access to the permit issued by the Ordre professionnel des comptables en management accrédités du Québec
• Code of ethics of certified management accountants 
• Regulation respecting the professional liability insurance of certified management accountants of Québec 
• Regulation concerning the keeping of records and consulting firms and concerning the cessation of practice of a member of the Ordre des comptables en management accrédités du Québec 
• Regulation respecting the conciliation and arbitration procedure for the accounts of certified management accountants 
• Regulation respecting the professional inspection committee of the Corporation professionnelle des comptables en management accrédités du Québec 
• Regulation respecting refresher training periods for management accountants
• Regulation respecting the committee on training of certified management accountants
• Regulation concerning compulsory continuing education for Québec certified management accountants
• Regulation respecting the public accountancy permit of the Ordre des comptables en management accredités du Québec 
• Regulation concerning compulsory continuing education for Québec certified management accountants who hold a public accountancy permit

In addition, the Order is subject to the Professional Code and the following regulations adopted under it, including:

• Regulation dividing Québec into regions for the purposes of elections to the Bureau of the Corporation professionnelle des comptables en management accrédités du Québec
• Regulation respecting terms and conditions for election to the Bureau of the Corporation professionnelle des comptables en management accrédités du Québec
